EVERY mom in the MHS Touchdown Club is invited to become a member of the Mom's Club

The Mom's Club is all about helping to provide some of the meaningful "touchpoints" to our players that moms have such a special way of providing.  If you're the mom of a McIntosh Chiefs Football player, we encourage you to get involved with one or more of the following efforts to show support for your son and the MHS football program:

Youth Football Camp Moms:

  • Chiefs Youth Football Camp, held June 7-10, 2010.
  • Help with on-site registration of camp attendees
  • Distribute frozen treat to camp attendees at the end of each day of camp

McIntosh Football Day Camp Moms:

  • McIntosh Chiefs Football Day Camp, held July 28-30, 2010.
  • Provide lunch and light afternoon snack for MHS football players each day of camp

Injured Player Moms:

  • Organize and create "Get Well" gifts for players with significant injuries, and distribute as needed.

Senior Meal Moms:

  • A long-standing MHS tradition where Senior football players gather for dinner at a different Senior player's house each Thursday evening during the football season.
  • Since these meals are hosted at the home of a Senior player, only the moms of Seniors are typically involved here.

Pre-Game Meal Moms:

  • Prepare and serve pre-game meals in the cafeteria for all MHS football players each Friday prior to home and away games.  School foodservice personnel are available to assist.

Post-Game Meal Moms:

  • When away games are a long distance away from McIntosh High, they can involve a long drive home at a time when the boys are quite hungry after the game.  For away games such as these (probably no more than 1 or 2 per season), moms are needed to prepare sack sandwich meals for the players which they can eat after the game prior to departing the stadium where the game was played.

. . . and it's a GREAT way to get to know some of our team's other Football Moms !!!

Remember:  We are "the team behind the team" !!!
